Information Technology - Gdansk

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, Branch in Gdansk (PJATK GDAŃSK), as a Foreign Teaching Center, was established in 2007 educating students in the field of Computer Science. Shortly thereafter, in 2010. The center was transformed into an independent Faculty of Computer Science. That same year, the Faculty of New Media Arts was established.

Specialized areas

During the first semesters, students acquire general academic knowledge and learn about modern technologies and IT tools.

We place special emphasis on the practical aspects, especially regarding programming (Java, C/C++, Python, Scala, PHP), databases and design. We also focus on acquiring teamwork skills in practice, including through specific projects.

In the 3rd year, students choose a specialization.
