Study Computer Science at PJATK Gdańsk
Enrollment for the 2023/2024 academic year winter semester will begin on May 4, 2023.
Bachelor's degree (engineering degree) full-time, Polish language studies
Admissions are held until the limit of places is reached.
1. Online registration
Create an account on the recruitment portal:
- Be sure to provide a valid email address to which the activation link will be sent.
- Once your account is activated, you will have access to your profile.
After logging in, you must:
- select the program you are applying for;
- fill out the forms;
- upload your photo.
Requirements for digital photos uploaded to the portal, which will be used on the ID card and for identification purposes:
- The acceptable photo format is JPG (extension .jpg or .jpeg).
- The minimum photo resolution is 240×300 (width x height).
- Images with a resolution greater than 700×900 (width x height) will be resized to 700×900 (width x height).
- The maximum file size for photos is 10 MB.
2. Provision of documents
Required Documents:
- Application for admission to studies:
- The completed application form should be downloaded from your profile on the recruitment portal.
- After signing, the application should be uploaded to your account on the recruitment portal.
- The completed form can also be obtained directly from the dean's office.
- High school diploma:
- A scan of your high school diploma (note: not your secondary school leaving certificate) must be uploaded to your account on the recruitment portal.
- then the candidate submits their high school diploma (original, copy, or notarized photocopy) to the dean's office at any time before or during the signing of the contract;
- If the candidate took an exam other than the Polish matura exam, they are required to provide a certified translation of the exam, an apostille (or legalization), and its nostrification (if required).
The matura certificate can be submitted:
- directly to the dean's office;
- by mail (registered mail) or courier.

The Faculty of Computer Science in Gdańsk offers courses in Polish, so foreign citizens are required to take an entrance interview to check their level of Polish.

Registration is required for online interviews via Recruitment portal.
Interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.
Before the language interview, it is necessary to send confirmation of payment for the interview to the following email address: gdansk@pja.edu.pl.
3. Studies qualification
You will receive the Admissions Committee's decision regarding your admission to the program at the email address you provided on the admissions portal.
Within two weeks of the date of the Commission's decision, you should pay the first installment of tuition fees and sign a contract with the university.
You pay the first installment of tuition fees to an individual account number, which is available on your profile created on the recruitment portal. You upload the payment confirmation to your account on the recruitment portal. The deadlines for paying tuition installments are specified in the appendix to the contract you sign with the university. Other fees related to your studies will also be paid to your individual account after your student profile has been approved in WebDziekanat.
4. Contract
After verifying your payment, a contract will be sent to the email address provided in the recruitment portal.
The contract is an agreement and a mutual obligation between the Student and the University:
The completed and signed Contract should be sent in a single PDF file to gdansk@pja.edu.pl Candidates who wish to submit the contract in person at the recruitment department, by mail, or by courier must provide/send two completed and duly signed copies.
It is possible to sign a tripartite contract between the university, sponsor, and student. Please inform the dean's office in advance if you wish to sign this type of contract.
PJATK does not guarantee that documents (student ID cards) will be issued and accounts on the University server will be activated before the start of classes for candidates who sign their contracts one week before the end of the recruitment period.

Once you have been accepted to PJATK, you will pay your study-related fees (e.g., tuition) to an individual account number, which is available on your student profile in the virtual dean's office: dziekanat.pja.edu.pl.
5. Certificate of admission
In order to obtain a "Certificate of admission of a foreigner to study" (a document necessary to legalize the stay in Poland) it is necessary to pay tuition fees for a minimum of one semester. The certificate at the request of the candidate is sent to the email in the form of a scan. Candidates who need an original certificate must send the request to rekrutacja@pja.edu.pl with the full postal address indicated.
